Spring 2010: vacant

If you don’t like people, you probably shouldn’t volunteer to be a Greeter. Greeters love people. They also like to smile. And shake hands. And help freshmen with homework, but I digress.  Maybe a high five or two.

Each of the two Greeters is responsible for arriving 15 minutes early (at 6:45) to Connections meetings. They then prepare nametags (if available) and welcome both old and new people to the Connections meeting. Greeters may also sit with new people who stumbleupon Connections meetings. You help new people become old people upon entering our community.
If for some reason you cannot be at a meeting, you are responsible for alerting the other Greeter and possibly finding somebody to replace you.
