The Heart Attitudes are the core of what we believe are essential elements of real community. They are drawn from the New Testament by a very smart pastor and former Penn Stater, Harold Bullock.

1. To put the interests of others above our own, within scriptural limits. (Philippians 2:3-4)

2. To keep relationships clear with one another. (Matthew 5:23-24)

3. To live honest lives before one another. (Ephesians 4:25)

4. To participate in ministry together. (I Peter 4:10-11)

5. To give and receive spiritual correction, within scriptural limits. (Hebrews 3:13)

6. To follow spiritual authority within scriptural limits. (Hebrews 13:17)

7. To contribute financially to the work of the ministry. (II Corinthians 9:6-11)
