TUESDAY- 11.6.07- Connections will return to our own space in the Garden Room at 7 PM kicking off our new series on Built To Last – Qualities That Build Long-Term Relationships. Vic King will be our speaker for the next 2 weeks. Some of you have met Vic. He and his family moved to State College this summer, along with his son-in-law, Jeremiah Kingshipp. Vic was formerly on staff at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, TX, where Max Lucado pastors. Vic is a licensed counselor and pastor, and brings a lot of wisdom to the table for us.

WEDNESDAY- 11.7.07 – HUB lunch around noon near Barneys…

THURSDAY- 11.8.07 – Prayer in the HUB will begin at 12:15 p.m. in room 208.

FRIDAY- 11.9.07- Operation Christmas Child Party is Friday, November 9^th.  We’ll meet at the Pollock Library at 7 PM and head out to Wal-Mart or the Dollar Store to load up shoeboxes for kids around the world. If you have a shoebox, bring it with you. If you are a little short on cash right now, feel free to partner up with someone else to fill a box. Invite friends, and make it a group project! We’ll come back to Johnny & Kathy’s to wrap up boxes, have some food and probably some other fun stuff to finish the night off.  

THIS WEEKEND- Becky Tirabassi will be returning to Penn State Sunday, November 11, and Monday, November 12^{th Â} @ 7 PM in the HUB^

Switchfoot/ Reliant K Concert:  

Alex Lin is looking to get together a group to go to the Switchfoot/ Reliant K concert at the BJC on Thursday,
November 15. The group rate is $20 per ticket (I believe a group is 10 or more people). If you are interested,
