First I would like to send some kudos out to some of you guys who made this last week and weekend a great experience.

Thanks John Petrilli and EVERYONE who helped man the table to help stop human trafficking. I think it was a big success and helped at least a few people become more aware of the problem.

Thanks also to Christin and the team who planned and pulled off a great Bru Ha Ha on Friday night. I know I had a great time and appreciated the work that went into the planning.

Thanks Emily and Christi for pulling the tailgate together for the Blue/White game. It didn’t hurt that God provided a perfectly fantastic day for the 71,000 + who joined us for the day!

Thanks to the team of New Lifers who helped lead the Journey Pathfinders on Sunday night. We had plenty of help for a fun evening!

Connections!  As usual, we will meet in the Garden Room of the Spiritual Center @ 7:30 PM Tuesday. Tomorrow night we’ll wrap up our semester focus on what’s up with the Bible with a no-holds-barred question/answer time just in case we’ve missed something this semester.  

Hunger Banquet: On Thursday night, May 3, Scott and Michelle’s LOL group at the Journey is sponsoring a Hunger Banquet at Calvary Baptist Church from 7 – 8:30 PM. It is free, but they are asking that guests bring items to contribute to the hygiene kits for Honduras, or canned goods for the S.C. Food Bank, or $$ to help with our building and water projects in La Acequia.

Summer is almost here! Where will you be? We will have a few students around here for the summer and plan to have some good times happening all summer long. Be watching your e-mail box, or if I get some help, we could do some communicating through Facebook.

Honduras…The May team to Honduras is set for this year. Be praying for this year’s crew: John Petrilli, Noli, Steve, Hannah Achor, Duane, Laura, Jordan, Ellen Paz, Susan Paz, Eric & Meg Handley, & Johnny. Specific requests will be coming soon, but pray for the finances and for preparation for each task we will be working on this year.
