If you are interested in going to the Chris Tomlin/Matt Redman/Louie Giglio deal at the BJC contact John Petrilli. The “concert” will be Friday night, Feb. 23, and tickets are $20 for group seating. If you want to save a few bucks, you can go to the BJC ticket office with your student i.d. and get tickets for $15. If you want to go to the BJC as a group, then let’s make a plan on when that could happen. This will in essence be a mini-Passion event.

Along the Passion lines, plan to join us for InCounter, our state-wide mid-winter retreat, Feb. 16-18 at Camp Joy-el near Greencastle. PA. Charlie Hall and his tremendously crazy band will be our guests for Saturday night and Sunday morning of the retreat highlighting our theme, Psalms in the Key of Life. The cost for the weekend will be $70, and if money is an issue for anyone, talk to me (Johnny) and we’ll help get you there. This will be similar to previous InCounter weekends – more of a retreat than a conference. The deadline to sign up is Friday, Feb. 9.

Honduras… Deadline to sign up for the May 19-31 team will be next Friday, Jan. 25. Also, we are still sponsoring several youth to attend Collegio (Jr. High). If you have been a sponsor and want to continue, please let me know ASAP. If you are interested in sponsoring a youth, the cost for the year is $300, or $25/month. They will be starting up the new school year at the end of February. The money pays for uniforms, books, school supplies and bus fare to get to and from school each day.  This past year we were able to sponsor 10 youths (including Pastor Alex).

Spring Break:.. we are New Orleans bound. We’ll be joining friends from West Chester U. and possibly Penn College/Lycoming to help rebuild this broken city. We’ll work with Project Noah and will spend Saturday to Saturday in N.O. The Big Kahuna, Robert Turner, our New Orleans tour guide, will be leading our expedition, and we’ll primarily be doing drywall work, and possibly painting. Right now we are investigating the options of driving or flying, and would prefer to fly. That would put our cost for the trip around $300 – $350. If we decide to drive, we will be able to reduce that cost significantly. If you are interested in going, let me know which you would be able to do. Sign-ups will be at Connections this week.

Cure International… While at Passion 07, we responded to the Do Something Now campaign committing to sponsor a surgery for a little girl in the Dominican Republic. They had hoped to fund 50 surgeries at $1000 apiece, and ended up with 124 surgeries funded! We are joining with the Lock Haven and Lycoming New Life groups to make a difference in this one life. You will be hearing more details on this in the next week, but we are looking to do a service project around Valentines and use donations to go toward the surgery. If you would like to contribute, or would like more information, just let me know.

The Journey Group will be starting up this Wednesday night from 8:30 PM to 10 PM in 126 Spiritual Center. That is one of the smaller pod rooms attached to the main worship room. The cost for the Journey notebook is $10.

Two:forty:two groups will crank back up this week. Watch for Monday’s What’s Happening for times and locations…

I’m sure there are more announcements, but this will be a good start!
